"The ABC's"
Well the last day of summer came
And kindergarten rolled around
When I walked into the classroom
I had the best lookin’ teacher in town
She escorted me to my seat
And said that it was time to start
But when she started teachin’
Then I just started thinkin’
‘bout a way that I could win her heart
Well the next day she started teachin’
Another lesson to the class
And then and there I saw my chance
And I just couldn’t let it pass
I saw a flaw in her way of thinkin’
But it was clear to me
So I just started preachin’
“You need to change your teachin’
There’s a problem with your ABC’s”
And I told her, “if I could rearrange the alphabet
I’d put U and I together
O can’t U C that’s how it should be
So K-I-S-S me
And until U start correctly teachin’ ABC’s
I ain’t listenin’ to a word U say
But if U and I could be together
Everything would be A OK”
Well she must’ve been impressed with me
Cause she wanted to hold my hand
She led me down to the office and said
“Would you like to tell me that again?”
I said, “yes” to here proposal
I though I was the B.M.O.C.
So I stood up tall and proud
Stared yellin’ real loud
So the entire school could hear me
And I told her, “if I could rearrange the alphabet
I’d put U and I together
O can’t U C that’s how it should be
So K-I-S-S me
And until U start correctly teachin’ ABC’s
I ain’t listenin’ to a word U say
But if U and I could be together
Everything would be A OK”
